Hitting the Double Digits | A Keto Post

I woke up this morning feeling awake.

I saw the sun peaking from behind my curtains and for once I didn't think "urgh go away you bastard", I thought, "YES. Okay let's go".

The energy I get from Keto is incredible.

My morning routine is simple; bathroom, scales, makeup, clothes, breakfast.

This morning was the same except when I stepped on the scales I saw something very exciting.

99.9kgs.

That's right. I've just barely hit the double digits again.


All that weight I gained from a very stressful job and my agoraphobic tendencies and depression that put me over the edge into triple digit world have gone.

I still have a lot to go until I get back to my comfortable overweight weight and then further down into 'I haven't been this weight since I was twelve' weight.

But I'm claiming this as a small victory for myself.

I can ignore the people telling me I'm depriving myself, or I should eat carbs because they are essential. This is working for me. It's sustainable and giving me more happiness than anything I've ever done before.

This is the best thing I've done for myself.
