Enjoy the sexual harassment handout:
I didn't realise I have been constantly sexually harassing people.
It gets worse:
Why did they not get this page native checked?!
And just so you know I was listening:
yes, he really said this when explaining how to stop harassment - not a native English speaker.
Rather big mistake to make...
Also:
This poor guy outside the restaurant we went to. Supposedly someone's soon-to-be lunch. Pretty sure he was already dead :(

Obsessed With A&Ss

With full transparency I didn't realise that their name was 'ass' before I fell in love with their products.

Today there was a market around my neighbourhood filled with goods but by far the busiest stall was A&Ss (luckily changing their name to 'Lapule' 「らぷれ」 in June). I had my eye on some square framed diamante studs but as I was waiting behind the masses they were snatched up. Thankfully, there was another pair of earrings I loved just as much.

This hand down earring style has been trending for a while now and I couldn't resist getting me some of these pearl style drop earrings when I saw them.

Peered with my studs from Zara.
[Please excuse my lack of makeup - it's Sunday and I don't care. Also my right ear is kind of elven?]

You can check out more of their stuff at the following:

I hope I see them at a market soon! (or not because my purse strings could use a break)

Fare Thee Well ~My Beloved Nikon d5000~

This beauty has been with me for 4 years and served me well.

It was my first big purchase with money earned through my own hard work. Abercrombie and Fitch nightshifts in the Ginza store were terrible but they did, at least, pay well.

When I first got it I took it with me every where. All over Tokyo and the rest of Japan. Snapping photos of everything; from temples to rivers to autumn leaves. Thousands of photos only to be riddled down to a dozen or so posted to facebook.

Recently, it has been having more of a shelf life. Traded out for my canon digicam as video took over from stills. The weight of it is no laughing matter either. These days our cellphones take such good photos with such ease that we forget what it's like to hear a real shutter sound or change out lenses or physically attach filters.

With my upcoming move to the UK I realised that my dslr was a luxury that I needed to leave behind. My luggage restrictions mean that I can only take what I can carry around for a few months and anything not absolutely necessary (like my backpack koala soft toy - practical) would need to be sold, thrown out or packaged up and shipped off.

My camera has served me incredibly well. I've taken some great photos with it. But I've found it a lovely home with someone I know will treat it well and enjoy it's company.

So, even though it breaks my heart to say goodbye to it, it will be fine.

Especially since I still have a polaroid camera, diana mini film camera and a digicam to entertain myself with.

BONUS: Some of my favourite photos it has taken

It Finally Fits ~OOTD~

6 weeks ago I couldn't fit in this outfit.

The skirt would barely make it over my thighs and it felt far to short to wear outside the home. The top fit, but tightly and I was too uncomfortable to wear it anywhere.

Please excuse my makeup-less face. I just woke up like this

Now, the top is a loose fit and the skirt fits perfectly.

So excited to be able to start feeling good in clothes again and to rediscover some lost wonders of my wardrobe.

I can't wait to head out today and feel perfectly happy with how I look.

First Weightloss Goal Conquered! ~10kgs on Keto~

I did it! This number has been eluding me for a few weeks now. Jumping up and down on the scales by 200 to 500grams.

But finally!

This morning I stepped on the scales not hoping to make a big loss but hoping to make a loss nonetheless and there it was!

97.2kg

That's 10kg loss and a WHOOSH of 500grams loss from yesterday. This waiting has been worth it. I can feel the motivation flooding back in.

This means that I am a quarter of my way to my initial goal of a 40kg loss.

It's been only 6 weeks which is hard to believe. I feel like it's been months. But on any other diet/exercise I could only hope to lose that kind of weight in a year... not a matter of weeks.

I'm looking forward to getting further down on the scale and all the benefits that come with; more energy, more clothing options, feeling healthier.

I think I said in my last post about Keto that it's hard to eat out and socialise when you know you need a major fat or protein bomb but don't have access to one. And watching everyone else eat food you love is hard.

When I've talked to people about the diet the response is always "I could never do that. I love carbs too much" or some variation.

WELL GUESS WHAT

I probably love carbs more than you could ever imagine! It was 80% of my diet before this. Potato chips, fries, bread, rice. I love all of it and would eat FAR too much of it. Going to the movies without popcorn, even now, is unthinkable.

But I'm doing it. And it's successful so far. Nobody has ever said losing weight was easy and although I think Keto is the easiest thing I've ever done that doesn't mean it's not hard.

If you really want to lose weight then you will do what it takes to achieve it.

That turned into more of a rant than I was meaning to make...

Anyway, I'm happy! Weightloss is going great! And I see only bright things ahead!
